Dry Vacuum Pumps

Dry Vacuum Pumps. Our lineup includes everything from the basic KCP models to inverter models, Module-Multi models, and others.

What are the advantages of using dry vacuum pumps?

Dry vacuum pumps offer several advantages over traditional oil-sealed pumps, including:
Elimination of oil contamination: Since dry pumps do not use oil or any other lubricating fluid, there is no risk of oil contamination in the vacuum system or the process being carried out.
Environmentally friendly: Dry vacuum pumps are more environmentally friendly because they do not use oil, which eliminates the risk of oil leaks or spills. They also reduce the consumption of natural resources used for oil production.
Better process control: Dry pumps provide consistent and reliable vacuum levels, allowing for better process control and repeatability. They can handle a wide range of applications and provide stable vacuum conditions.
Energy efficiency: Dry vacuum pumps are designed to be energy-efficient, reducing power consumption and operating costs. Some models incorporate features such as variable speed drives to optimize energy usage based on demand.

Can dry vacuum pumps handle liquids or condensable vapours?

Most dry vacuum pumps are not designed to handle liquids or condensable vapours. They are primarily used for dry gases or vapours. If there is a risk of liquids or condensable vapours entering the pump, additional measures such as liquid traps or condensers need to be employed to protect the pump.

What maintenance is required for dry vacuum pumps?

While dry vacuum pumps require less maintenance compared to oil-sealed pumps, routine maintenance is still necessary. This typically involves regular inspections, cleaning of filters or screens, and checking for any signs of wear or damage.
